We at H & K , Having just taken on the Rothenberger tool range decided to review a couple of new products. We know about their tools, so we thought we would take a look at two of their torches, and they are the LED head torch and the professional LED torch.The LED head torch. Part No.88926.This torch comes with six LED's and adjustable head strap with the battery pack in a comfortable position at the back of the head and is light weight at only 155 gramms.The LED'S create superb illumination of what ever the user may be directly looking at and the lamp can be tilted to give light exactly where required.The lamp itself is small and unobtrusive when compared to others in the market place, this is one lamp that will not get knocked even when used in confined spaces such as boiler cuboards.Overall given its size, the amount of light it produces, we would certainly class this head lamp as good value for money and a usefull addition to any toolbox.The Professional LED torch. Part No.88927 This torch boasts an illumination distance of 180 metre's and at only 115mm in length it does not disappoint.The torch is powered with three alkaline-ionic AAA batterys and produces an exceptional amount of light for its size, the torch also comes with a handy case and is ideal for the tool box and car glove compartment and just carrying in your pocket or on your belt. This torch is the brightest i have seen and even outstrips the mag-lite torch with illumination and beam distance and brightness.I would consider this torch one of the best i have seen and exceptional value for money given its illumination power and distance.Mike KnightH&K Plumbing.December 2010
