Brief description

This beautifally traditonal English pub & restaurant is situated in the sea side village of Birchington, only 3 miles from the nostalgic sea side town of Margate and 12 miles form the city centre of historic Canterbury. It offers a warm & friendly atmoshpere and great service. A fine selection of traditional and modern English food is available on the lunch and A'la Carte menus.

Worst Ever

Went here for Christmas Day lunch, worst experience ever. Arrived at 1pm having pre ordered , by 4.30 pm we had not received the promised coffe or mince pies and in fact did not see any one get them. Service was diabolical and food wasn't much better, chef left before desserts were done and these were microwaved puds and one was so overcooked unable to eat it.

my family regularly visit this lovely cosy and welcoming pub,we visit for birthdays, for the theme nights they have,and meals. atmosphere is great! food is great! you get service with a smile! theme nights are great! everyone is so friendly!
