My husband to be and I were totally in the dark when it came to our wedding cake, but after discussing our thoughts with the extremely helpful and knowledgeable lady at mead farm we ordered one of their cakes. It was beautiful, the design and decoration was far better than we anticipated. And the cake itself - bottom tier fruit cake and the top tier sponge - was absolutely delicious. It was in a totaly different league to those other local cake makers who supplied us with samples. And it wasn't overpriced! It made a tremendous centrepiece to our wedding breakfast.
