    I've always like the Moat. It's a place you can go to where your name is sure to be remembered and you are greeted with a genuine interest...unlike other places around. The food hits the spot and now that they are venturing into coffee, it would be a mistake to pass on giving this charming place a try!

  • 5 Buying Tea and Coffee !

    Following the sad closure of Whittards and Ringtons in Canterbury, great news that I can buy my Lapsang and Jamaican Blue mountain coffee here ! .... I can have my regular cream tea and buy all the tea and coffee I need.

  • 4 rural coffee shop

    Despite the name this place does an excellent range of coffees. The difference is you can enjoy it the unique surroundings of an old world tea room, rather then a nondescript coffee chain.
