I offer a complete garden design service including design, construction and planting or am happy to provide a particular service, such as design only or a planting plan.

My aim is to translate your needs and wishes into a functional, beautiful and unique design that will increase your enjoyment and use of your garden. I am committed to providing a creative and personal design service and to making the process of transforming your garden a pleasurable one.

I have a National Diploma in Horticulture (Garden Design) – Distinction – and projects have included commercial and new build landscaping but the bulk of my work is residential, from small courtyards to large country gardens.

This is how the design process works:

Free initial consultation – a chance for you to view examples of my work and for me to give an idea of the cost involved

Client brief and site analysis –where I take details of your ideas, likes and dislikes

Survey and design – an outline concept design is presented and discussed, following which a fully detailed masterplan is produced that builders can work from

Construction

Planting – This can include a soil analysis; planting plan; soil preparation; supply of plants at 20% off retail price; planting; mulching; maintenance schedule

Free Assessment – after 3-6 months I will visit you to discuss any maintenance issues, evaluate how the planting is doing and give advice on pruning and pest and disease control
