  This building project manager/property rennovation company trading out of Canterbury, Kent (Dog and Duck Cottege, Plucks Gutter, Canterbury, Kent CT3 1JB) and as Oakcat Group Europe address La Jortruere, La Chappelle au Riboul, Mayenne FR53440 tel +33.243049578 - now has two UK court judgements against it. 1 small claims and 1 country court. Michael Holmes the Director, promised us the reassurance of a UK led project managed rennovation job on an old farmhouse we have in Normandy, France, reviewed the work required, requested a deposit of £2300 and then left us with a part stripped external wall, scaffolding and nothing else. The contract was agreed in autumn 2005 and Mr Holmes has still not paid us back the monies Croydon Country Court requested after a year to get to court, which took place in March this year (2007). He is also on very shaky ground with regards to the legality of all his trading names. Another of his clients has gone on to enforce his county court judgement and even with bailiff involvement has been unable to recoup what he is owed. I would thoroughly recommend not using this company.
