    Waste of time trying them. Unfriendly & expensive compared to quotes I got elsewhere, & the no-pay clauses in the policies they offered were ridiculous.

    Unfriendly & ignorant service. They didn't even listen to my requirements properly, then proceeded to try & sell me insurance that was totally unsuitable for my needs -& very expensive at that. I heard a similar story from a friend who also tried them, not long after my visit. Clearly Abacus prefer to sell insurance that suits them (makes the most profit?) rather than what the customer actually needs. I'm glad I tried elsewhere - the contrast in service & price was quite noticeable.
